Lead Pastor

Stan and Sherri Hall

Stan and Sherri Hall came to Gateway in 2011 after serving as global missionaries in Quito, Ecuador, for six years. They are thankful for God’s call to Gateway as the Lead Pastor and continually seek to be in God’s will as they serve.

Since 2014, God has called them as a couple back to corporate prayer, and it is their strong desire to see lives transformed through the manifest presence of God in Gateway’s services.

Stan graduated from Evangel University with a B.A. degree in Biblical studies. He received an M.A. and Ph.D. in philosophy from Saint Louis University. Stan then pastored the Fenton Church of the Nazarene for nine years. Before coming to Gateway, Stan also taught philosophy courses at the university level for 19 years, including courses at Caribbean Nazarene Theological College and the South America Theological College. While in Ecuador, Stan was the director of NILI (Nazarene International Language Institute:  a Spanish study abroad program targeted to university students).

Sherri received a B.A. degree in English from Evangel University. She has also done master’s level work in English. She is a professional corporate technical writer. Her favorite job, though, is taking care of her family, which includes two grown children, Mary and Landon, and their miniature schnauzer, Indy.

If you visit Pastor Stan in his office, you can get your picture taken in his hammock.
