Lead Pastor

Stan Hall

Stan Hall and his wife, Sherri, came to Gateway in 2011 after serving as global missionaries in Quito, Ecuador, for six years. They are thankful for God’s call to Gateway. In 2014, God impressed upon Pastor Stan the importance of corporate prayer in moving a church forward in Christ. It is his strong desire to see lives transformed through discipleship and the manifest presence of God in Gateway’s services.

Stan graduated from Evangel University with a B.A. degree in Biblical studies. He received an M.A. and Ph.D. in philosophy from Saint Louis University. He then pastored the Fenton Church of the Nazarene for nine years. Stan also taught philosophy courses at the university level for 19 years, including courses at Caribbean Nazarene Theological College and the South America Theological College. While in Ecuador, Stan was the director of NILI (Nazarene International Language Institute:  a Spanish study abroad program targeted to university students).

Youth Pastor

Brad Ratliff

Brad Ratliff is the youth pastor here at Gateway Church of the Nazarene. He was born and raised in the Muncie, Indiana. His life is
a unique and incredible testimony of God’s love, and his calling and passion his to share that message with people of all ages. Brad and his wife, Kate were both ordained in August 2020 . Kate lends her talents to helping Brad with youth and young adult ministries. They enjoy spending time together with their 1-year-old son and their dogs. 

Pastor of Worship Arts

Kate Ratliff

Kate is an ordained Nazarene pastor and serves Gateway as Pastor of Worship Arts. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2013 with a degree in music ministry. She is married to Pastor Brad Ratliff, and together they enjoy leading worship music for and ministering to people of all ages. Kate's goal in her life and ministry is to not worship God just through music, but in everything she does (Romans 12:1-2). In addition to spending time with her husband, son and their dogs, she loves singing, reading, and being creative.

Children's Department

Dawn Vaught

Dawn has attended Gateway Nazarene all her life. After graduating from Mid-America Nazarene University with a degree in Accounting and Management she took on the role of Children's Director. Dawn loves children and wants to make sure that all children she comes in contact with knows the love of Christ. She is called to make sure that all children know that serving God is their full-time ministry and that their lives should glorify Him. 

She was married to Brian Vaught in 1990. He is also very involved in the children's department. They have two grown sons Cody and Travis. Dawn loves to spend time with her family, whether it is vacationing or sitting at home watching the Cardinals play baseball.
